For those who may think this just a normal or simple holiday, let me remind you of something. Those trips to the mall, dinning out at your favorite restaurant , using a public bathroom and being employed are just some of the things many of us now take for granted. If it wasn't for those special people(civil rights leaders) in our past who fought for our freedom and our rights, then none of us would be able to enjoy even the simple things we do today. Now millions of African Americans now can live and go after their dreams or desires. Lets keep Martin Luther Kings dream alive and start honoring his wishes by coming together as one. Stop the violence, stop the senseless killings and please stop the stupidity. Lets come together as one proud people under God! Peace be to you all and please lets keep the dream alive!
